Saw Sangrio tree
where Blue Morpho
lays eggs
vanilla vine
chocolate tree
orchids
passion flowers

We heard the song
of many birds
cicadas
the river
the wind in the trees

I didn't dare speak
above a whisper
so sacred the journey
of the Blue Morpho
that last day
